Email alerts
DLQ threshold notifications
Get an email when any dead letter queue exceeds a message count threshold. Alerts are powered by CloudWatch alarms and fire automatically, even if the dashboard is not open.
How to configure
Update your CloudFormation stack with these parameters:
- NotificationEmail - the email address to receive alerts
- DlqThreshold - alert when any DLQ exceeds this message count (default: 10)
After updating the stack, check your inbox and confirm the SNS subscription email from AWS.

HTTP webhook on alarm
POST a JSON payload to any URL when a DLQ alarm fires. Works with Slack incoming webhooks, PagerDuty, or any custom HTTP endpoint.
